Scott Tallal
Strategic Analyst
Mr. Tallal has provided primary analysis and strategic consulting services to Craciun Research clients in the areas of international relations, market research, e-commerce websites and non-profit charities along with government agencies, political organizations, and legal consulting firms.
Mr. Tallal has personally developed several breakthrough methodologies and innovative analytical techniques which have resulted in dramatic advances in the understanding and motivation of human behavior.
He is a noted speaker at market research industry conferences and regularly consults with other research firms on everything from interviewer training to the very latest data collection and analysis procedures. Mr. Tallal is a member of MENSA International.
Dr. Cathy Colwell Ph.D.
Research Analyst
Dr. Colwell brings to Craciun Research solid technical and analytical skills in quantitative research. She is the company’s quantitative expert on the Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) system and has assisted Craciun Research in a variety of multicultural projects.
Dr. Colwell holds a Doctorate in educational psychology from the University of California, Riverside. She also has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in education from the University of South Dakota and a Master of Arts in psychology, counseling, and guidance from the University of Northern Colorado.
Jean Paal
Research Analyst
A 25+year veteran research analyst for Craciun Research, Mrs. Paal oversees survey development, algorithm patterns and analysis of quantitative projects. Since 1982, Ms. Paal has done extensive market research and political surveys, using SPSS for statistical analysis. Ms. Paal designed a computer program to provide analysis not available through the original SPSS program.
She has lectured and tutored students in the use of SPSS and in statistics at University of Alaska, Anchorage, Alaska Pacific University, and Anchorage Community College. Mrs. Paal has lived in Anchorage since 1945. She obtained her Associate Degree in Computer Science at University of Alaska, Anchorage.
